UNDER THE RADIATION EXPOSURE COMPENSATION ACT (“RECA”)
The RECA program allows for in-home healthcare services to be provided to qualified beneficiaries. The CNS team of experienced nurses specialize in caring for workers who had work related exposures and suffer from illnesses contracted in the uranium industry (Miners, Millers, and Haulers) during the Cold War. This high level of care comes at no cost to the eligible individual. Many former uranium workers suffer from serious medical conditions such as various cancers, Pulmonary Fibrosis, Silicosis, and Pneumoconiosis, to identify a few.
