Melissa Steele, JD - Chief Compliance Officer
Melissa Steele comes to CNS Cares with over 20 years of effective, solution-oriented compliance program development and oversight. Melissa has a passion for leading teams and a demonstrated record of achievement in areas that include corporate compliance, federal and state regulatory requirements, corporate governance, and risk management. Prior to joining CNS Cares, Melissa spent over seven years in corporate compliance at DaVita Kidney Care and more than 12 years creating and managing compliance programs for nonprofit organizations serving individuals with developmental disabilities. Melissa holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Nevada Las Vegas and a Juris Doctor from the William S. Boyd School of Law.
Melissa resides in Colorado and enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with family and her two dogs.
